SWISD wants to come together in one giant ORANGE message of hope and support.  WEAR ORANGE to color our district and community to visibly show that our SW community believes that NO child should ever experience bullying.  Your Counselors and Social Workers will promote "Unity Day" at your campus to incorporate lessons, ideas and other activities to highlight "unity."    
Why ORANGE? Unity Day is held in October, and orange is a color commonly identified with that month and season. It is also a color associated with safety and visibility. Orange is described as warm and inviting, and its vibrancy makes a strong statement.
